Make a selection 0760319235 The long career of the Porsche turbo started during the first oil crisis--a time when it seemed that fast, powerful cars would have no further place on the motoring scene. Yet the turbo has remained immune from such criticism ever since its debut at the paris motor show in 1974. The evidence: a quarter of a century of unbroken success. In 1975, when the turbo went into series production, 260 horsepower were sufficient to put across its power philosophy. The peak of the output curve was reached by the fourth generation of Porsches top model in 1996, when the special turbo s edition was rated at 450 horsepower. The most recent, fifth-generation Porsche turbo endeavors to bring the fast driver that much closer to ...(choose a part on the right to read more) General FitmentACCESSORY

Make a selection 99731416600 The manual transmission turbo models use a hydraulic accumulator. If it is beginning to fail, you will experience a very heavy clutch pedal when the engine is not running. Once the car is started and begins to warm up the pedal becomes less heavy. You can also feel that the pedal is very notchy in certain spots. We always recommend replacing the accumulator when installing a new slave cylinder. Also, replace the accumulator o-ring, part # 99970722440 for 993 and 996 turbo and o-ring, part # 99970752940 for 997 and 997-2 turbo. Original part # for the 993 turbo was 993 314 166 00, it has been superseded since then. Sold individually. 1 necessary per car. View/Change Diagram

Make a selection 99660410702 If your starter is on its way out, you will notice an intermittent clicking noise and a delay in the vehicle actually starting. Eventually you hear a metallic screeching noise that is a sure sign that your starters bendix mechanism, bearings or solenoid are kaput. When ordering a new starter be sure to check the rubber cap on the terminal for cracks which allows moisture in and it is a good idea to check your starters hardware as well. This is the latest supersession from the manufacturer. For the early air cooled car restorations, please note that the housing looks different than the original. Sold individually. This is a new starter so a core charge is not applied. View/Change Diagram
